Jesus is standing in Pilate’s hall—
Friendless, forsaken, betrayed by all:
Hearken! what meaneth the sudden call?
What will you do with Jesus?
Friendless, forsaken, betrayed by all:
Hearken! what meaneth the sudden call?
What will you do with Jesus?
What will you do with Jesus?
Neutral you cannot be;
Some day your heart will be asking,
“What will He do with me?”
Neutral you cannot be;
Some day your heart will be asking,
“What will He do with me?”

Jesus is standing on trial still,
You can be false to Him if you will,
You can be faithful through good or ill:
What will you do with Jesus?
You can be false to Him if you will,
You can be faithful through good or ill:
What will you do with Jesus?
3
Will you evade Him as Pilate tried?
Or will you choose Him, whate’er betide?
Vainly you struggle from Him to hide:
What will you do with Jesus?
Or will you choose Him, whate’er betide?
Vainly you struggle from Him to hide:
What will you do with Jesus?
4
Will you, like Peter, your Lord deny?
Or will you scorn from His foes to fly,
Daring for Jesus to live or die?
What will you do with Jesus?
Or will you scorn from His foes to fly,
Daring for Jesus to live or die?
What will you do with Jesus?

“Jesus, I give Thee my heart today!
Jesus, I’ll follow Thee all the way,
Gladly obeying Thee!” will you say:
“This will I do with Jesus!”
Jesus, I’ll follow Thee all the way,
Gladly obeying Thee!” will you say:
“This will I do with Jesus!”

I learned this song in my days in the Secondary School . in the seventies.
The obvious question is still desiring honest deliberate prayerful and scriptural answers from all
Remember one day it will His turn to determine what to do with you.

This is one of the hymns I learnt as a teenager in secondary school during our annual Easter programme. It has remained in my memory even in old age. As I studied the gospel of Matthew in chapter 16, the question of who really Jesus Christ is came up. We treat or relate with Him based on who He is to us. May you treat Him as your saviour, the son of God. I love the hymn due to the many lessons it teaches.

This is one of the most solemn hymns of all time. It interrogates my faith in Yeshua (Jesus) as it encourages me. What will I do with Jesus in the face of stiff opposition or life-threatening circumstances because of my faith in my Lord Yeshua.
I am in Baidoa, Somalia right now doing some work. This is an area that erupts in life-threatening violence and attacks from El-Shabab, sworn enemies of believers in The Lord Yeshua. Murdering Christians is seen as a favor to God.
But I am not afraid because my Yeshua is God of Gods, King of kings and Lord of Lords. So what will I do with Jesus should He lead me where the fire rages? I will own up to being not only His follower but His servant. This I will do with Jesus!
