Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing pow’r?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Are you washed in the blood,
In the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb?
Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
2
Are you walking daily by the Savior’s side?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Do you rest each moment in the Crucified?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
3
When the Bridegroom cometh will your robes be white!
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Will your soul be ready for His presence bright,
And be washed in the blood of the Lamb?
4
Lay aside the garments that are stained with sin,
And be washed in the blood of the Lamb;
There’s a fountain flowing for the soul unclean,
O be washed in the blood of the Lamb.

It's in the URL address line in your browser, very last phrase. For example, for this hymn it says: http://www.hymnal.net/en/hymn/h/1007. So 1007 is the hymn number. Since I am answering your query, I will also make a comment.

What a great song. Are you FULLY trusting in his grace this hour? I have to admit to my shame, I am a partial truster of grace. It's grace +. Grace + a back-up plan; grace + my clever working; grace + an influential person. But then I am short-changed of what I receive. Henceforth, let it be grace alone. Let me FULLY trust in his grace hour by hour, so that I need nothing else.

Why do they no longer have their numbers in the hymnal? That's the main reason I was searching for this song was to find what number it is in the hymnal.

I learnt this soul inspiring music early in life at my father's Anglican Church in Nigeria. It's one of the many soul inspiring Anglican music that opened my understanding of the power in the blood of Jesus.

This song makes me understand that it is only the blood of the Lamb-Jesus, that has got the power to cleanse us from our sins.

Have you been to Him for your cleansing?

Question: Is it accurate to say that the blood cleanses our soul?

Answer: One of the hymns we sing refers to the "soul-cleansing blood." The redeeming blood cleanses us from any sin or defilement. It is probably better to avoid using this term in ordinary talk, though I would not say that it is wrong. The soul means the self. The blood does cleanse us from our sins, but we do not need to call it the "soul-cleansing" blood. In our writings we try to stay away from any questionable terminology. We don't condemn what others use, but we don't necessarily adopt their terms either.
