There's so much peace in surrendering yourself to Jesus and allowing yourself to be cleansed by the blood of the Lamb. Children of the Kingdom of light, I plead with all of us that we continue offer prayers unto God for them that still live on in sin that they also may come to the full understanding of the words of this hymn and surrender to God.

Hello all. Each time we sing this hymn there's need to note that the Chorus is full of Questions begging for Answers.
Are you really washed in the blood of the Lamb of God that took away the sin of the world? If not, the only appropriate thing to do is to go on your knees and ask the blood of Jesus Christ to wash you clean from your sin.
You will acknowledge your sins before Him and ask Him for forgiveness. You will ask him to come and be your Lord and Saviour. Ask Him to write your name in the Book of Life. Ask Him to give you His Holy Spirit by whom you can live a life devoid of sin. Then, start to live this New Life by reading your Bible and meditating in its contents, praying, singing hymns and fellowshiping with other Christians who have genuinely done what you have just done.
You will also need to stay away from your old friends who are still held up in sin and are not ready to come to Jesus. They could draw you back whilst you are still young in the way.

This song renewed and kindled the Joy that comes from the Lord. No more will I listen to passive so called Christian music. I noted immediately after listening to this song, of which I haven't heard since I was a child, is convicting and filled with cleansing power, and perhaps that's why we never hear it.
