The Great Physician now is near, The sympathizing Jesus; He speaks the drooping heart to cheer, Oh, hear the voice of Jesus! |
Sweetest note in seraph song; Sweetest name on mortal tongue; Sweetest carol ever sung: Jesus, blessed Jesus! |

This hymn reassures me that I have victory in Jesus. It reminds me that in good times and bad times I only need to call the name Jesus. It gives me confidence that I am saved, I am loved and I am redeemed.

Each time I sing this my spirit is highly lifted getting to all that Christ settled on Calvary and new fellowship I've been brought into. The angels worshipped with veiled and here I am with open face beholding His glory as that of the only Son of God. If only men will grasp this sweet song, a life of victory over sin and sickness. what a glory!
