Does Jesus care when my heart is pained
Too deeply for mirth or song,
As the burdens press,
And the cares distress,
And the way grows weary and long?
Too deeply for mirth or song,
As the burdens press,
And the cares distress,
And the way grows weary and long?
O yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary,
The long night dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary,
The long night dreary,
I know my Savior cares.

Does Jesus care when my way is dark
With a nameless dread and fear?
As the daylight fades
Into deep night shades,
Does He care enough to be near?
With a nameless dread and fear?
As the daylight fades
Into deep night shades,
Does He care enough to be near?

Does Jesus care when I’ve tried and failed
To resist some temptation strong;
When for my deep grief
There is no relief,
Though my tears flow all the night long?
To resist some temptation strong;
When for my deep grief
There is no relief,
Though my tears flow all the night long?

Does Jesus care when I’ve said “goodbye”
To the dearest on earth to me,
And my sad heart aches
Till it nearly breaks,
Is it aught to Him? Does He see?
To the dearest on earth to me,
And my sad heart aches
Till it nearly breaks,
Is it aught to Him? Does He see?

Yes, our God is supreme and yes He and He alone understands and cares.
This hymn also make me shed tears as it brings memories of my beloved mother whose tired body was taken home by our Heavenly Father. Thank Lord for such a remarkable and loving mother. She shall always be remembered by all those who were close to her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

I always remember my beloved mother who died in the Lord. Anytime I listen to this song and reads the words I shed tears. May she rest in the bosom of the Lord!!! Amen.

This song helped me get saved. When God worked in the author's heart to write it, He was thinking of me. That is just too big to comprehend......what an AWESOME GOD we serve! He loves you more than you will ever know and He does care, just trust Him every bit and He will be there for you.

This song reminds me of my father who was on the call of God.

Good is wonderful! He gave us this song barely 48hrs before my beloved wife was taken to glory. It was first a spiritual anaesthesia to cushion the severe chock, then it provided hope and direction to my wandering thoughts.
How gracious God is that the very detail of my loss and the hope to keep afloat was provided before time. O yes He cares!

I'm in my darkest moment. Bills piling up , everyone who owes me isn't paying back, I get contract invest my money in them and I don't get paid. My marriage is a nightmare and the only hope and joy are my kids and I have just been occupying myself going to their swimming competitions and focusing on their studies but their perfomance has jus started going downhill. I have fasted and prayed many many times ive screamed and called out to God but seems all my even those that hate me now prevail over me. I doubt if I ever mean anything to God.

Be blessed my brother in the Lord. There are many believers in Jiddah. I lived there for three years. There are several Churches there and 7,000 who have not bowed the knee to Baal. You may be there with no Bible. There are Bibles in the churches; I know because I lived in Jiddah for three years. Pray that you may find them. Seek and you will find; knock and it shall be opened. In the Scriptures it is written: "In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer because I have over come the world." Greet all the brethren for me. Tell them that I will never forget them until we sing together again in the Kingdom. Remind them to continue "Standing on the Promises of God." Tell all the Pastors and Deacons that I love them dearly.
