Yes He is a friend that sticketh closer then a brother. Prov 18:24. A present help in time of need. Woke up early this morning. This song came to me. And also how could God love anymore. He has no more love to give. He gave it all in Jesus so that you and I could live. I’m so glad He paid the price gave His Son a sacrifice. He loved so much how can we live any less.
I’m so glad one day I turned away from my sins and God forgave me and has kept me through the power on the cross that Jesus died for us to have. I’m glad I died to myself and paid the cost and am still wanting to pay it. He truly changed my divided heart one day. Now it’s centered on Him and His will. Only through His grace and mercy and goodness did He do that for me. This is an abundant life. All we have to do is carry our crosses and cares to Him. Trust Him for He knows what is best. I can say ABBA Father. Thy will be done. In earth as it is in heaven. In my earth and vessel.

I just had a dream. I was about to be killed by some Islamic terrorists and they had me and my family lined up. They took me from the line to have me beheaded because I am a pastor. I was happy to be executed in my dream. The joy I had was unusual. I knew I was about to die for a worthy cause. I proclaimed Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the way; a proclamation which angered the terrorists. One of the terrorists pulled out a knife (military like) and chanted in arabic like they do in movies and was about to have me beheaded but the words of this hymn started to come out of my mouth. I started singing, "I have seen the lightning flashing, I have heard the thunder roll. I felt sins breakers dashing trying to conquer my soul but I heard the voice of Jesus bidding me to fight on, He promised never to leave me, never to leave me alone". While singing this hymn, a power that I have not experienced before came upon me and I started to fight the terrorists who were about to have me slaughtered. My brother joined in and we over powered these terrorists who were about to behead me and later execute my family. There is power in the words of this hymn. God moved and defended my family as I sang this hymn. To God be the glory. Jesus Christ of Nazareth is Lord.
