I love this song but haven’t sung it for years. However, I woke up singing it and weeping after I declined partaking in a ceremony that doesn't glorify God. It was a confirmation of God's presence in my life. Trust and obey, no matter what is at stake. His presence is sure.

Sometimes we wish other people understood that we sometimes wish God’s Word Wasn’t true. And that can sound weird. But there is a lot of bad things that happen and have already in the Bible. But it shows the power of the Word that it is true because of the sake of proving it. All scripture is good for reproof. Notice how God is never treated unfairly, except when He is right. Which is always. And we never obey God and Jesus except when we disobey Him and begin to cry and ask for forgiveness and repent. Not to say that our sins lead to obedience, but our chastisement for it does.
