This hymn (FADE FADE EACH EARTHLY JOY) was the favorite hymn of Samuel Morris, (1872-1893), an African prince who came to America in 1891. Became to learn of the Holy Spirit. So powerful was his anointing he was called “an angel in ebony”. Taylor University in Fort Wayne, Indiana, honors him as the spiritual benefactor sent from Gos to save their school. The full splendor of his story has yet to be told. God still has treasures in darkness to lavish on His people. GLORY!
