CHRIST is taking me to that experience. I haven't reached there yet. HOW painful it is when the self is smashed from everywhere, GOD will cause us to reach a point where we recognise we are absolutely finished, lying in the dust, Then CHRIST will cause us to recognise CHRIST is everything. THEN WE CAN TRULY SING THAT SONG BECAUSE WE HOLDS THE INWARD REALITY. MAY GOD BRING ALL HIS CHILDREN TO THAT EXPERIENCE. AMEN.

We sang this wonderful hymn dozens of times when I was a student at Nyack. Too bad I had to live so many years before I understood the meaning. Hope and joy surround me today because I have experienced the meaning of these words.
