To me ‘Standing on the promises of God’ means being confident that God is always in control whatever the situation. It means that God will always and under any and all circumstances deliver on His promises. God is not a man that He should lie. His plans for us are always perfect.

Standing on the promises is living by faith. It is trusting God in the dark and in the valley of the shadow of death. It is knowing that God is not only able, but He is willing to perform on His promise. Father, thank you for the grace to always prevail by the living Word. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
