This song was going around in my head for weeks. I could only remember part of the melody and a few words “When Jesus comes, the tempers power is broken, when Jesus comes all tears are washed away”. So I googled the few words and up comes the song, amazing! ... Now I am sitting next to my wife who we just brought back from the hospital, it’s so good to have her back. The song is such a comfort to me. “When Jesus comes the tempter has to flee, thank you Jesus”. ...

He surely takes the gloom and fills our lives with glory and all is changed when Jesus comes to stay. I grew up singing this song in church, it just came across my mind now as I am preparing for my midnight prayer. Thank you for the lyrics I no longer have my hard copy song book with it.. God bless

I was just meditating this morning, about how I so much need the presence of God in my life. The presence of God gives strength. His presence dispels the fears from the enemy. When God is in our lives, the tempter will not have edge over us, to make us yield. OH LORD, I JUST WANT YOUR CONSISTENT ABIDING PRESENCE IN MY LIFE. I NEED MORE OF YOU IN MY LIFE.

Here we are, in the middle of the worst pandemic of our lives. The fate of the economy seems uncertain. Many people out of work. Businesses are closing by the thousands. Anxiety is out of control. As I pondered these things, this song came into my head. It must have been 55-60 years since I heard my mom singing it as she did chores. I couldn’t remember the words, so I did this search. Thank you so much! The song touched me deep inside! May God get the Glory He deserves!
