He giveth more grace

1
He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater,
He sendeth more strength when the labors increase,
To added affliction He addeth His mercy,
To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.

His love has no limit, His grace has no measure,
His power no boundary known unto men,
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus,
He giveth and giveth and giveth again.
2
When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed ere the day is half-done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,
Our Father's full giving is only begun.

My husband and I are living day by day with his ALS. God’s word and these great hymns have comforted and given peace to our souls that all is well with our souls. God’s strength has been amazing. I am experiencing His peace and His amazing grace as we walk this hard, very hard ALS journey. Oh what a hope we have in Jesus because he is our Savior by dying on the cross to our penalty for our sins so we can be righteous thru His blood. And victorious through His resurrection we will join the Lord in heaven for eternity. He is faithful and just to everyone.

There I was taking a walk one cool January evening and pondering on what 2021 will be like and then this hymn calmly seeps into my mind bringing with it a firm reassurance of His grace.

I know it's God telling me that He'll be with me irrespective of what the year brings forth.

I trust Him to guide and direct and I know all things are working together for my good just as He promised.

Dear Lance I will certainly keep praying for both you and your mum. I love the poem “ God hath not promised skies ever blue” and it has helped me through many a trial. My late husband suffered from Muscular Dystrophy and soon after he died my son was diagnosed. Always remember to take one day at a time, and never let go of Jesus hand. 🙏🏻

"This is the Day the Lord hath made, we will be glad and rejoice in it"!..... WHATEVER may come my way today, my ONLY question will be... 'Lord, what do you want me to learn from this'? .......

Awakened with worry about the future as the whole world is gripped by the Coronavirus, this hymn came to mind and I slowly sang the verses to myself in bed. Praise God for His love and mercy to His rebellious children, including me! There is a third verse, not shown here:

Fear not that thy need will exceed His provision

Our God ever yearns His resources to share

Lean hard on the arms everlasting, availing

Thy Father both thee and thy load will upbear

Fear not, little flock! Our Shepherd goes before us! Our God is on the throne! Jesus is coming soon - let us make the most of every opportunity, for Him.

The end of man is the beginning of God! Praise You, Lord! Truly Your grace is sufficient for us to supply us, strengthen us, and sustain us. We thank You Lord as our life-giving Spirit within! Amen!
