The Great Physician now is near

The Great Physician now is near,
  The sympathizing Jesus;
He speaks the drooping heart to cheer,
  Oh, hear the voice of Jesus!

Sweetest note in seraph song;
Sweetest name on mortal tongue;
Sweetest carol ever sung:
    Jesus, blessed Jesus!
2
Your many sins are all forgiv'n,
  Oh, hear the voice of Jesus;
The veil 'twixt you and God is riven,
  Redemption wrought by Jesus.
3
All glory to the dying Lamb!
  I now believe in Jesus;
I love the blessed Savior's name,
  I love the name of Jesus.
4
His name dispels my guilt and fear,
  No other name but Jesus;
Oh, how my soul delights to hear
  The precious name of Jesus!

Glory be to Jesus. Today, this is the second song I woke up with early in the morning singing in my head. All I could know about it was the ending of the chorus, " Jesus, blessed Jesus" and ... "seraph song's that was all. This song is not in the Celebration Hymnal, so I googled, "Blessed Blessed Jesus" the one I found first was not it but I kept looking and Jesus led me to this and the voice told me, " this is what you're looking for" and truly it is. I sang it a few times and recorded it.

I Know Jesus gives me this song today for a purpose. O Lord Jesus, help me to use this song today, this week, this month and even this year to fulfill your purpose for my life.

I must also add that, I'm recovering from a common cold which attack has affected my voice. I've been struggling to get my voice back so I can continue to sing and praise Him for all the blessings He has given me. Hallelujah. Thank you Jesus, my great physician forever. Amen.

Glory to Jesus.

I first heard this song during my early teen in a scripture Union program, it was when I newly became born again. But till this very day the holy spirit kept reminding me of the song though I don't know it. And so today I have to search for the song with some of its leyrics I remember.

Glory to Jesus.

Aging song, Aging grace.

Jesus Blessed Jesus.

Lord, thank you for bringing this song into my mind before 11th march 2024...

"Temporarily based in an Arabian/Islamic country for a whole year... 'especially, where I couldn't attend CHURCH PROGRAMS for months... ' got stricken strangely with an infirmity that lingered weeks.... sought for divine assistance for more than a while..... to no avail .... but when I almost lost hope .... the Lord sent me an Angel ... from IVORY COAST (one of my Divine Favorite Prophets... ),

Through His online ministration, I got my HEALINGS AND was MADE WHOLE" !

I love you LORD JESUS; THANKS MY SAVIOUR!!!

THANK YOU LORD JESUS, FOR RE-WRITING MY STORY BY HEALING ME OF ALL INFIRMITIES, AND FOR MAKING ME WHOLE THROUGH THE MINISTRATION OF YOUR PRECIOUS BLOOD.

What would I have become without YOU, LORD JESUS?

Who would have saved me, if not for YOU, SWEET JESUS ?

I WILL FOR EVER GLORIFY YOUR NAME EVERYWHERE I GO.

YOU REMAIN MY ETERNAL ROCK OF AGES, MY DARLING EL-ROI WHO KNOWS MY END FROM THE BEGINNING OF TIME.

GLORY, HONOUR, AND ADORATION BE UNTO YOUR HOLY NAME, JEHOVAH RAPHA, IN JESUS NAME. AMEN.

I sang this song today quietly to myself during prayer for our dear Commissioner Diaz as she goes to surgery, knowing that the Great Physician is with her in this very moment and in the strong and restoring days that will follow.

I love the name of Jesus...

Revised version:

1. The Great Physician now is near,

The sympathizing Jesus;

Sin's wounds, exhaustion disappear—

Draw quickly near to Jesus.

Jesus bore the cross for you,

Your sins' heavy burden, too;

Now He wants to heal you;

Quickly come to Jesus.

2. Your many sins are all forgiv'n,

If you will come to Jesus!

When conscience smites, you'll peace be giv'n

When you draw near to Jesus!

3. Corrupted nature, sin-stained heart,

All find their cure in Jesus;

All weakness, sighs, disease depart,

When you draw near to Jesus.

4. Man's life is gloomy, painful, dry;

Why not draw near to Jesus?

The living water He'll supply;

Oh, come draw near to Jesus!

5. Now healed and full released I am,

For I've received Christ Jesus;

All glory to the smitten Lamb!

I now believe in Jesus.

Jesus' bonds have set me free;

Jesus' wounds have healed me;

Jesus' death brought life to me;

Jesus! I have Jesus!

6. My gracious Savior's name's so dear;

The name I love is Jesus!

Dispelling misery, so near,

No other name but Jesus!

Fragrant name—saints' praises ring!

Honored name—the angels sing!

Name excelling, all-supreme:

Jesus! Precious Jesus!

7. When I'm that day to Him brought near,

Brought face to face with Jesus,

E'en more I'll glorify and cheer:

O Jesus! Precious Jesus!
