Pastor Bottoms would direct the congregation to sing the chorus a few years ago. We've rested, laboring in love, with this mantra... I woke up with song in my spirit this morning, and I hear God saying we will never know the extent of His love, His favour and the joy He bestows until we learn to walk with Him in complete obedience. To be completely devoted to Him, no matter what!
A man I so deeply respect for His knowledge of God once said, it's not that I have had any unusual revelation but one thing I learn early in my walk with God is to obey Him in small dealings of the day.
Lord, help me to grow more and more in this life of obedience.

This morning as I am humming this hymn the Lord said sing it! How enjoyable. So many times I put my own efforts into things but the Lord says take a chill pill. If He can provide food to the birds how about us as humans? Praise our Lord we can always come back to Him.. Trust in Him for He know all that we need.
