'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His word;
Just to rest upon His promise;
Just to know, Thus saith the Lord.
Just to take Him at His word;
Just to rest upon His promise;
Just to know, Thus saith the Lord.
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him,
How I've proved Him o'er and o'er,
Jesus, Jesus, Precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust Him more.
How I've proved Him o'er and o'er,
Jesus, Jesus, Precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust Him more.

O how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to trust His cleansing blood;
Just in simple faith to plunge me,
'Neath the healing, cleansing flood.
Just to trust His cleansing blood;
Just in simple faith to plunge me,
'Neath the healing, cleansing flood.

Yes, 'tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life, and rest, and joy, and peace.
Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life, and rest, and joy, and peace.

I'm so glad I learned to trust Thee,
Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend;
And I know that Thou art with me,
Wilt be with me to the end.
Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend;
And I know that Thou art with me,
Wilt be with me to the end.

Since I accept Him into my life, I have come to love, depend and trust Him in all circumstances. He never disappoints or lets me down even when He seems quiet, I have learned to wait on Him. I am encouraged by this song. 'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus.

I love this song. The words bring me back to the basics: take Him by His word. I cannot do anything meaningful without Jesus.

I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I that lives but Christ lives in Me (Gal. 2:20). He has been faithful, awesome and amazing in the years of service.

What song again should be on the mortal tongue if not to declare my absolute trust and dependence on Christ our Saviour. May the Lord be glorified forever. Amen.

This song is really touching. It draws me to my Saviour and teaches me to trust the Lord in all times.
I think this is the right anthem for all Christians during these hard times. Its all about trust and obedience to the voice of the Lord.

Amen.. the Lord is all that we need! Its just such a peaceful way to live, knowing that there is One that we can absolutely put our trust in. He is the most trustworthy person I know. Our Precious Lord Jesus. Taking us through the valley and to the mountain top... we know that in the end all things will work together for good because we are loving the Lord and are called according to His purpose.
May this Hymn serve to water the brothers and sisters today:)

I love it that I have found a site I can go to for the songs I grew up with. I love the new praise and worshp songs of my church, The Rock, but sometimes I want to hear one of the old songs, the songs that lift your hearts, your spirit, a lot more quietly than the songs of today. They're good, and I love to sing them, clap my hands, and raise my hands as I sing along, but I also want to hear the songs that raise my heart as I raise my hands.
