While driving from work praying, thanking God for His many blessing and seeking His face for the new year, this song came up in my spirit and I sang it all the way home. It is conforting to know that God speaks even through a song. Peaceful and Blessed New Year to all, in Jesus Name.

When I was under 7 years old I lived with my grandparents in Tucson, Arizona. I remember sitting in the back seat coming back home from church listening to them sing their favorite hymn...singing in harmony the last line of the chorus "He lives within my heart". A beautiful memory, a beautiful answer to the question of how we know Christ lives. The Word became flesh, and the Word becomes flesh through us living out each day when He lives in us.
