1
Take my life, and let it be
Consecrated, Lord, to Thee;
Take my moments and my days,
Let them flow in ceaseless praise,
Let them flow in ceaseless praise.
2
Take my hands, and let them move
At the impulse of Thy love;
Take my feet and let them be
Swift and beautiful for Thee,
Swift and beautiful for Thee.
3
Take my voice, and let me sing
Always, only, for my King;
Take my lips, and let them be
Filled with messages from Thee,
Filled with messages from Thee.
4
Take my silver and my gold;
Not a mite would I withhold;
Take my intellect, and use
Every power as Thou shalt choose,
Every power as Thou shalt choose.
5
Take my will, and make it Thine;
It shall be no longer mine.
Take my heart; it is Thine own;
It shall be Thy royal throne,
It shall be Thy royal throne.
6
Take my love; my Lord, I pour
At Thy feet its treasure-store.
Take myself, and I will be
Ever, only, all for Thee,
Ever, only, all for Thee.

Woke up by 3:45am with this beautiful song in my mouth.

It blesses my soul any time I find myself in this mood. Its indeed a song of rededication and consecration.

May the name of the Lord be glorified.

This is a real prayer of surrender to our Lord Jesus Christ who purchased us for His own by His precious blood at the cross on Calvary. Is the only way to victorious Christian living I these tulmolous end times. Brethren, let's fight on for the trumpet call is just about 'occupying till the final hour's for the glory of God the Father through The Son by the power of The Holy Spirit!

God brought this song to my heart yesterday after so many days of not singing it. So glad I could sing it this morning and absorb all the beautiful words in it. Truly God is setting His people apart for His own use, glory and pleasure.

A few days ago I posted this song in a special notes folder on my phone “songs in worship”. The intense personal connections that God has been making with me almost cause me wonder am I the only one experiencing such an amazing renewal of experiencing the fullness of God? And then I started reading your beautiful beautiful comments; it makes me feel such a joy to see such kindred spirits. There is no doubt God speaks us His words through the Holy Spirit in us and worship is not just an opportunity to glorify God but it is also a battle cry that the enemy cannot have any hold over us for we are his. If God is for us who can be against us?

Stay strong brothers and sisters in the Lord. It’s beautiful to be interconnected with people throughout the world who have such a passion, vision, and love for the creator of the universe who so tenderly cares for us. Continue to let God be your all in all. He can be trusted! Continue to worship in spirit and in truth!

Meaningful song of my soul

I grew up singing this song. I came across the book, “ Kept for the Masters Use” by the author of this song, Francis Ridley Haverhill. This book is like a devotional. She takes each verse and challenges the reader to commit every part of ones self to God fully. She penned this book right befor she passed away in 1879!!! It is worth reading, it has caused me to sing it in a truly different light, all of me is yours , my Lord.

Revised version:

1. Take my life, and let it be

Consecrated, Lord, to Thee;

Take my moments and my days,

Let them flow in ceaseless praise.

Chorus:

For me, You were mocked and crucified;

For me, willingly You bled and died.

Lord, my life and love I willingly outpour

And will serve You ever more.

2. Take my hands and feet, I pray,

For Thy work, to run Thy way.

Take my lips that I may sound

Word of truth to those around.

3. Take my silver and my gold;

Not a mite would I withhold;

Take my intellect, and use

Every power as Thou shalt choose.

4. Make my heart and will Thine own;

They belong to Thee alone.

Take my love; my Lord, I pour

At Thy feet its treasure-store.

5. Take me, Lord, till I've become

Ever joined to Thee as one.

Take myself, and I will be

Ever, only, all for Thee.
