To God be the glory, great things He hath done

This song is nice whether it is fast or slow!

I was praying just a couple of minutes ago then I fell into a trance , then I heard this song in the dream/ trance, then I woke up. I decided to check the lyrics, then I realized God was trying to tell me something..... the part I love most ? ~"the vilest offender who truely believes , that moment from Jesus a pardon receives ! " Glory to God! Jesus has been telling me lately He's coming any moment from now, but then I have lived under so much fear cos I feel am always worthless and inadequate... am afraid cos I feel am a dinner , and don't know what that day holds for me. , But with this song , I feel the Master is assuring me of His love , and care. And that He is ever ready to forgive and ready to save. Even so come Lord Jesus, and may we be counted worthy of your kingdom at your appearance, amen!

I love this song

Thanks for sharing this great hymn. Am so blessed

Thanks be to God for this hymnal - my songs of praise book misses out so many deeply devotional hymns such as this - for raising the bar of today's insipid offerings. God bless all involved in this ministry to His glory. Thank you.

I woke up with this tune in my head and I had to look for the complete song it has blessed my spirit immensely.

I have woken up with the hymn's chorus in my head for the last week and needed to read the whole hymn. A great reminder of what God has done for us.

Ending 2020, Lord we praise You, the only wise God! In Your wisdom, arranging everything behind the scenes this past year to direct us to Your Beloved Son who is Your delight. This Son yielded His life, our redemption to win. Even the vilest offender who truly believes, that moment from Jesus a pardon receives. Your light shines on who we are, but You do not stop there. You cause us to see You! Our wonderful, perfect, beloved, Jesus! Then purer, and higher, and greater is our wonder of You. Praise You Lord for all of Your shepherding this past year. We ask You to have mercy on us, to continue to shepherd us in 2021, into deeper fellowship of Your Son with all of the saints that we would be ready for Your appearing. Amen.

I woke up on this last day of 2020 with a blast and the chorus Praise the Lord Praise the Lord let the earth hear his voice! Yes indeed at the end of 2020 and all it’s pandemic and gory details we can look back and return high praises to God for seeing us through

A definite favorite for me!
