1
To God be the glory, great things He hath done,
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life our redemption to win,
And opened the life-gate that all may go in.
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice;
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice;
Oh, come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory; great things He hath done.
2
Oh, perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
To every believer the promise of God;
The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice;
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice;
Oh, come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory; great things He hath done.
3
Great things He hath taught us, great things He hath done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be
Our wonder, our transport when Jesus we see.
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice;
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice;
Oh, come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory; great things He hath done.

Woke around 145am with an anxiety attack, a few minutes later that song came to my mind and I began humming. So I decided after reading my morning devotions I'll pull it up and sing along, paying close attention to the words. TO GOD BE THE GLORY.
I woke up and the line with " vilest offender and the tune for this song was ringing in my head ! I was like what song is this and then I got on google :) the Holy Spirit was delivering a message to me. To all believers, PRAY BOLDLY. God hears even when the prayers are incoherent and are struggling for words. Praise the Lord !!!!

I didn't know the lyrics but I searched for this song as I remembered my late mother who always had it in her mouth singing in my native tongue, Igbo . May her gentle soul rest in peace.
