Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch; like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
That saved a wretch; like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!

The Lord hath promised good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures.
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures.

When we've been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we first begun.
Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we first begun.

It must be practiced and sung repeatedly to gain a true understanding of any kind of this song. We must remember that it is written, "We go from faith to faith."

"Through many Dangers toils and snares,
I have already come.
The Lord had brought me safe thus far,
And he will lead me home!"
This is the 3rd verse that's missing

This is one hymn that reminds me of who I was without Christ - lost and blind - and how by His loving kindness He came by and gave meaning to my existence. It is not just a hymn, it's a revelation and a conviction of the depth, breadth, width and length of God's love for mankind.
Thank You, Lord!
It's a sweet hymn, it's really reminding us of the Gods Grace
