"Great is Thy faithfulness," O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.
"Great is Thy faithfulness!" "Great is Thy faithfulness!"
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—
"Great is Thy faithfulness," Lord, unto me!
2
Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
"Great is Thy faithfulness!" "Great is Thy faithfulness!"
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—
"Great is Thy faithfulness," Lord, unto me!
3
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!
"Great is Thy faithfulness!" "Great is Thy faithfulness!"
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—
"Great is Thy faithfulness," Lord, unto me!

Like most of you, I have struggled a lot in life. I have failed God many many times - I've lost count. And each time, I have witnessed God's faithfulness, so amazing and unparalleled. This has been my all time favourite because the writer pens the words directly from the center of my heart. It is so beautiful to hear and so easy to sing. Best meditation song so far especially for quiet times. It's as if this song and its arrangement was picked directly from Heaven's Hymn book. Very uplifting and saintly. God bless all of you always.

Sang this song in my sleep and woke up to it this morning. Indeed, Great is His faithfulness. I only modified the first line of the second stanza to my seasons in Nigeria.

This song will always be a blessing to my soul. May God bless you all everywhere you may be in the world at large.

Sister Janet, Our Father must have been speaking to both of us this morning because I too woke up with "great is thy faithfulness" in mind as I woke from my sleep on the same day. How awesome and great is He to show us His love and compassion toward all of us.

This song came to me as I was reading GOD'S WORDS this afternoon and I just sang it out loud. I do not know the whole song but the first lines just gives me that joy of really wanting to praise Him no matter what. Then I had to check it out and see if I find the lyrics. Blessed be Thy Holy Name, I found more than I bargained for as that saying goes. May all you out there also be blessed with faithfulness and cheerful hearts. God Bless you all.

As I woke this morning, this song came to mind and I immediately sang it as a part of my worship. "Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth" are words of particular meaning to me for it's because of His faithfulness and love that I'm still here relishing in His presence. I pray that I remind as faithful to Him, as He is to me. Great is His faithfulness.

Jesus is Calling.
It has been awhile. I slept really solid last night. I woke up and thought of the phrase, "Jesus is Calling". It is a devo my wife and I have used in the past. It almost felt like Your personal call to me this morning as I lay in bed before my normal wake time! I love that You are always with me. Am I taking advantage of Your presence? Am I enjoying my coffee meeting with You? It feels like I have not tapped into You in way too long. I have been reading off an on my chronological journey through the Bible. But not soaking in like I have been accustomed to. I even opened up the deck door. I wanted to hear Your creation. The birds may have to compete a bit with the rumble of the cars on 93rd Ave. But the look of the leafed out trees and the filling out Hosta, the smell of the day. Even the gray of the premorning light. I purposely left the lights off. I miss these times. It sounds like a Psalm of remembrance. It is all good, the memories of Your faithfulness.
