But that Thy blood was shed for me,
And that Thou bid'st me come to Thee,
O Lamb of God, I come! I come!
To rid my soul of one dark blot;
To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
With many a conflict, many a doubt;
Fightings within, and fears without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
Sight, riches, healing of the mind;
Yes, all I need, in Thee to find,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
Has broken every barrier down;
Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

Our condition doesn't matter, we just need to come to Him, just as we are.

We sang this song almost every Sunday at the end of the service when I was growing up. I have sung and hear it so often from such a young age, that it has become a part of me. No matter what, I have hope God will accept me, just as I am, because of what Jesus did 1 afternoon 2,000 years.

I use to dig this song with my mamaw when I was a child. It's always been on my mind and I hum it often.
Thank You Jesus for taking me just as I am.
Through many confused times, losses, headache, this song reminds me of His love for us all.

We come to the Lord just as we are. After coming to the Lord, we should not remain was we were, but live by the new heart and new spirit that He gives us.
