Hark, the Savior's knocking, knocking,
  Knocking at your heart!
Oh, do not be hardened, hardened,
  Lest He should depart.
Rise and open up your heart,
  Quickly let Him in;
Life divine He'll give you, give you,
  And forgive your sin.

Let Him in! Let Him in!
He's knocking at your heart;
Let Him in! Oh, let Him in!
  Let Him in your heart.
2
Why should you still tarry, tarry,
  Keep Him waiting there?
He is kind and gracious, gracious,
  Merciful and dear.
Listen to His tender voice
  Do not grieve His heart,
Won't you let Him enter, enter,
  And His grace impart.

Friends, there is no need for us to say any more. Now is the time for you to make the decision for Christ, to open yourselves to receive Christ as the reality. He is the living and omnipresent Spirit, and you have a spirit, not only a body and a mind, not only a soul, but a spirit deep within you. Forget about your body, forget about where you are, and forget about your mind and emotion. Simply open yourselves from your inmost part to this Christ who is waiting at your heart and at your mouth. Simply open to Him and say, “Lord Jesus, I accept You this morning. ” You will contact Him, and He will contact you. Please make such a vital decision for Christ at this time. It is a glory to make a decision for Christ. Do not hesitate, and do not lose this opportunity. He is waiting, and He is knocking at your heart. Receive Him, and receive Him now.

Preaching the Gospel

in the Way of Life

CHAPTER 5 (LSM)

Revised version:

1. Hark, the Savior's knocking, knocking,

Knocking at your heart!

Oh, do not be hardened, hardened,

Lest He should depart.

Rise and open up your heart,

Quickly let Him in;

Life divine He'll give you, give you,

And forgive your sin.

Let Him in! Let Him in!

He's knocking at your heart;

Let Him in! Oh, let Him in!

Let Him in your heart.

2. Hear Him calling, "Sinner, Sinner,

Come find rest in Me;

I gave up My body, body,

For you on the tree;

Died that you receive God's grace,

Bled to purchase thee,

That your sins, though scarlet, scarlet,

White as snow may be."

3. Why should you still tarry, tarry,

Leave Him at the door?

Once this chance is over, over,

It may come no more!

He's so full of love for you;

Do not make Him sigh.

Life divine He'll give you, give you;

Why just wait to die?

4. If you still would tarry, tarry,

There will come a day

When you will be sorry, sorry,

Beg the Lord to stay.

Grace's door will be shut then;

Tears will be in vain.

Why not grasp this moment, moment,

Let Him entrance gain?
