There is a fountain filled with blood
Drawn from Immanuel's veins;
And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains:
Lose all their guilty stains,
Lose all their guilty stains;
And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains.
Drawn from Immanuel's veins;
And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains:
Lose all their guilty stains,
Lose all their guilty stains;
And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains.

The dying thief rejoiced to see
That fountain in his day;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away:
Wash all my sins away,
Wash all my sins away;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away.
That fountain in his day;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away:
Wash all my sins away,
Wash all my sins away;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away.

Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood
Shall never lose its power,
Till all the ransomed ones of God
Be saved, to sin no more:
Be saved, to sin no more,
Be saved, to sin no more;
Till all the ransomed ones of God,
Be saved to sin no more.
Shall never lose its power,
Till all the ransomed ones of God
Be saved, to sin no more:
Be saved, to sin no more,
Be saved, to sin no more;
Till all the ransomed ones of God,
Be saved to sin no more.

E'er since by faith I saw the stream
Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die:
And shall be till I die,
And shall be till I die;
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die.
Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die:
And shall be till I die,
And shall be till I die;
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die.

When this poor lisping, stammering tongue
Lies silent in the grave,
Then in a nobler, sweeter song,
I'll sing Thy power to save:
I'll sing Thy power to save,
I'll sing Thy power to save;
Then in a nobler, sweeter song,
I'll sing Thy power to save.
Lies silent in the grave,
Then in a nobler, sweeter song,
I'll sing Thy power to save:
I'll sing Thy power to save,
I'll sing Thy power to save;
Then in a nobler, sweeter song,
I'll sing Thy power to save.

There is power in this song, just because of the name and the blood of Jesus-Christ. I know what I am talking about. I'm a Christian, a real soldier in the Army of God, a preacher of the Gospel. Satan wants to prevent me from doing what it is right. To make a long story short, in my dream, I I was attacked by a group of demons, I was lost among them. When I started singing this song, all of them were singing with me too. After a while, the atmosphere was too hot for them disappeared. The victory is mine in Jesus blood. Amen!

This is an amazing hymn I love it and the other hymns the writers carefully thought through these hymns as enabling weapons to worship God.

This is an AMAZING SONG. After I read the words carefully, I have seen the Power and Grace of God in my entire life. Churches have forgotten these inspired songs and replaced them with "Christian Rock" ... Very Sad...

The hymn is a magnum opus of some sort. You can’t help but cry when you visualize every line and the scene of Calvary plays afresh before your eyes. Thank You Jesus for though vile I was like the dying thief your flowing wounds has washed away my sins.

The Preacher sang this song and played it on the piano today at Church. I had to Google the lyrics because it was precious. TODAY in Church, I RE-Dedicated my life to Christ Jesus, God in me.

Verse 4 is inscribed on the grave of Spurgeon. A precious hymn not sung enough these days. Sadly.

There fountain of our sins that Jesus paid for us on that cross.

I heard this song, the lines"and sinners plunge beneath that flood, lose all their guilty stains", in my spirit this day". Sept. 4, 2019
I have played Q'chord and sung this song in my Masai language, Kiswahili, Kikuyu in mass crusades and the crowd always join in singing. 'Tis old yet ever new'
