My son committed suicide a few days ago leaving a son and wife. Our grief and burdens seem overwhelming at moments. Darkness truly veils His lovely face. If I did not have the anchor that holds within the veil despair might take me. Christ Jesus is everything now. There is no other hope. All other ground is sinking sand. Come Lord Jesus.

Truly my hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ. He is my righteousness, My hope of eternal life and my hope of glory is based on faith in Jesus Christ. It seems the age is getting darker and darker. These days when many things we trust in are failing, we can trust in Him our solid rock. He is something solid that we can trust in. We stand in faith in His accomplishments and promises. It’s nothing we do, thank goodness.
